Salam and a warm greeting to all of you!
As a teacher, I have found that incorporating station-based activities into my lesson plans has been a highly effective way to keep students engaged and motivated. Rather than having students sit at their desks and copy exercises from the whiteboard, I design activities that require students to move around and interact with the material in a variety of ways.
For this particular lesson on possessive adjective (Year 5 : Starter Unit), I have used station-based activities that require students to rotate through different stations, each with its own set of exercises. (Before this station-based activity, I have already introduced and explained about possessive adjective to the students). The students were given a set amount of time ( 5 to 7 minutes) to complete the tasks at each station before moving on to the next one. After they have visited all the stations, we discussed and reviewed the answers together.
Overall, I highly recommend this activity, simple yet fun and engaging.
